RUO Agreement

Intended Use

All products supplied by BioCollex Research are sold strictly for laboratory research and in-vitro testing purposes. They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, medical devices, or dietary supplements, and they have not been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for any use.

No product offered by BioCollex Research is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition in humans or animals.

Not for Human or Animal Consumption

Products are not for human or veterinary use. They are not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. You agree that you will not ingest, inject, apply, or otherwise administer any product to yourself, to another person, or to any animal, and that you will not supply any product to a third party for those purposes.

Qualified Purchaser

Products are sold exclusively to qualified researchers, laboratories, and institutions. By placing an order you represent and warrant that you are a qualified party, that you possess the training, facilities, and expertise required to handle research chemicals safely, and that the products will be used only in a controlled research setting.

Age Requirement

You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase from BioCollex Research. By placing an order you confirm that you meet this requirement. We may refuse or cancel any order where we cannot reasonably satisfy ourselves that this condition is met.

No Dosing, Medical, or Application Guidance

BioCollex Research does not provide dosing information, reconstitution instructions framed for personal use, administration protocols, medical advice, or guidance on use in humans or animals, and will not do so on request. Our staff cannot answer questions about personal use, and any such inquiry will be declined.

Nothing on our website, in our documentation, or in correspondence from us should be interpreted as a recommendation to use any product outside a research setting.

Product Documentation

Every batch is third-party tested and supplied with a Certificate of Analysis identifying the compound, its measured purity, and its batch reference. Certificates of Analysis describe the analytical characteristics of the material only. They are not a certification of safety, efficacy, or fitness for any use in humans or animals.

Handling, Storage, and Disposal

You are solely responsible for the safe handling, storage, labelling, transport, and disposal of all products after delivery, and for complying with the safety requirements of your institution and jurisdiction. Products should be stored as indicated on the product label.

You accept full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your handling or use of the products following delivery.

Compliance with Applicable Law

You are responsible for determining whether your purchase, possession, and use of a product is lawful in your jurisdiction, and for obtaining any licence, registration, or institutional approval required. Where local law is more restrictive than these terms, local law governs.

Resale and Redistribution

Products may not be resold, relabelled, repackaged, or redistributed for human or veterinary consumption, or marketed in any way that represents them as suitable for such use. Any resale must carry the Research Use Only designation and the restrictions set out in this Agreement.

Order Refusal

BioCollex Research reserves the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order at its sole discretion, including where an order carries indicators of intended human use, where quantities are inconsistent with research purposes, or where we are unable to verify that the purchaser is a qualified party. Refused orders are refunded in full.

No Warranty; Limitation of Liability

Products are supplied as is for research use. Except for the analytical specifications stated on the applicable Certificate of Analysis, BioCollex Research makes no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of BioCollex Research arising out of or relating to any product is limited to the purchase price paid for that product. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BioCollex Research, its members, officers, and agents from any claim, liability, loss, or expense arising from your use, misuse, handling, storage, resale, or administration of any product, or from your breach of this Agreement.

Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your order governs that order. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
